The starting point is Zillertal, the widest tributary valley of the River Inn and one of the best and most attractive flying areas in the world. Covering an area of over 1,000km², it's where pilots’ dreams come true. The circuit over Gerlospass into the popular thermal and cross-country paradise of Pinzgau. A few people will no doubt already have heard the expression "Pinzgau Stroll" during their flying careers.
You can launch in Hollersbach, but perhaps some of you will also make it from Zillertal via Gerlospass and continue as far as Wildkogel or even to Schmittenhöhe near Zell am See?
Everything is possible!
We will also visit other top flying areas depending on wind and weather. Easy launch and landing areas for all wind directions are available to us. The tour is suitable for both prospective long-distance pilots and pilots just looking for easygoing fun in the air.
Flying through the Tyrolean Alps will be both a fascinating and unforgettable experience; not least because, for some, it will be your first time on a "long-distance" flight and, as we say here in Tyrol, we’re sure:
